Beautiful lake, warm and clear. Very peaceful on the day we were there, not a speedboat in sight. Didn't stay overnight, but we saw many staff/COs, it looked clean and well maintained. Not a party site!
Great Home, away from home, awesome fishing and beautiful sites. The only issue is the 30 Amp service needs to be 50 amps, but other than that, it's an amazing time while here
Beautiful location. We did the walk-in tent area and it was definitely worth the walk!
Beautiful place, but our new wagon got stolen from the walk in side 😞 …
Very nice park, worth the drive. Sites are large, mostly private, and wasn't busy while I was there. You can hear the water fall at night in the campground. The lake is large and offers much structure. Highway 39 was pretty uneven but otherwise easy access and all paved.
Has both modern and pit toilets, showers, and close to amenities in Snow Lake. Conservation and RCMP were around and ensuring the safety and peace of the park.
If you haven't heard of this incredibly scenic spot and the beautifully lush campground and day area that surround it, then you're in for a treat!
While there isn't much for trails or hiking, there are all the amenities a campground should have like showers, privacy, a boat launch, a beach, and even a dog-friendly swimming area! There is also a tenting-only area where you can sleep next to the sounds of the falls. Great vistas from the suspension bridge!
Beautiful scenery. Was a nice peaceful time. We ran into some inconvieniences. They should let people know on their website that showers are coin operated, and firewood is only available for purchase in cash from 5-7pm. The showers were also very dirty, I saw that they cleaned the floors in the shower rooms, however, the shower walls are in a disgusting state! The long trail was blocked off and not maintained and we couldn't continue on that trail, which was disappointing because the other trails are very short.
Wow, as if I only found out about this place this year! Definitely a must see if up north. I would argue better than Pisew Falls even, though not as big, but you can get much closer to the falls themselves and can look at them from both the edge down as well as straight on from the suspension bridge (as far as I know, correct me if I'm wrong about Pisew).
